Shelley Town is the daughter of Harold Town — one of the founding members of Painters Eleven, the group that broke open abstract expressionism in Canada in the 1950s, and among the most significant figures in Canadian modernism. His work is in the National Gallery. TOWN carries that lineage forward as a shop dedicated to art, stationery, and considered objects.
